§ Mr. Buchanan-SmithNo accurate mechanism on these lines exists, nor is one necessary in relation to the 30 May 1980 agreement, because both import levies and monetary compensatory amounts charged on imports from non-EEC countries are treated in the same way for the purposes of that agreement.
