§ Mr. Ralph Howellasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will publish a table showing (a) standard rates of retirement pension and (b) the long-term supplementary pension rates, as percentages of the net earnings of single people and married couples earning average male manual earnings in 1948, 1958, 1967 and each year thereafter.
§ Mr. RossiThe information requested of long-term supplementary benefit rates is not available for years prior to 1973, the year in which they were introduced. The information for years from and including 1973, together with that for retirement pensions for the years requested, is given in the following table.
