§ Mr. Alexander FletcherI share the hon. Member's concern about the proposed redundancies at the Veeder-Root factory. He will no doubt join me, however, in welcoming the announcement by Sinclair Research Ltd. on 18 February of a major manufacturing project for Dundee which will make a substantial contribution to employment prospects in the city. The company's decision was strongly influenced by grants made available under the Government's regional policy.
