§ Mr. Bestasked the Secretary of State for Wales what progress has been made on designating Wales under the European social fund as a priority region for schemes for young people.
§ Mr. Michael RobertsI understand that the European Commission has recently approved the inclusion of Wales in the list of priority regions for 1981. This will give Welsh schemes for young people a greater chance of attracting European social fund aid than in the past. The Welsh Office will be informing relevant organisations of the change.
