§ Miss Richardsonasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will publish in the Official Report the number of people covered by the following special employment training measures at the most recent date for which information is available on the temporary short-time working compensation scheme, the job release scheme, the youth opportunities programme, community industry, the community enterprise programme-special temporary employment programme and the training for skills programme.

The existing STEP schemes were transferred to the new programme.
