§ Sir Bernard Braineasked the Lord Privy Seal what stage has been reached in the negotiations between Her Majesty's Government and the Government of Fiji relating to the proposals submitted by the Government of Fiji for development projects on Rabi Island.
§ Mr. Neil MartenNegotiations on the wording of the formal grant agreement were concluded in March 1981. Subject to signature of the agreement by the Fiji Government, road improvement and village water supply development projects are regarded as approved, following discussions in October 1980. Agreement has been reached on the preparatory work required before other projects can be submitted for approval.
