§ Mrs. Sally OppenheimThe Government have consulted a wide range of organisations representing consumers, appliance manufacturers and retailers, the gas industry and its employees, local councils and safety organisations about the report. In addition, a number of representations have been received from MPs, private individuals and employees of the British Gas Corporation, individual local Councils and other bodies.
