§ Mr. Wm. Rossasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what steps are being taken to improve the marksmanship of the members of the Royal Ulster Constabulary.
§ Mr. AlisonAll members of the force are required to complete a course of weapons training, during which they must attain, among other things, a designated standard of marksmanship, before being issued with a firearm. Refresher courses, aimed at improving this standard, must be taken twice a year.
