§ Mr. Bestasked the Attorney-General whether, pursuant to the answer to the hon. Member for Wirral (Mr. Hunt), Official Report, 16 February, column 1, he will make a further statement on changes to the law relating to damages for death recoverable by the estate of a deceased.
The Solicitor-GeneralThere is nothing that can usefully be added to the answer to which my hon. Friend refers. The Government intend to introduce legislation to implement recommendation 19 of the report of the Royal Commission on civil liability and compensation for personal injury.
