§ 30. Mr. Allan Robertsasked the Secretary of State for Industry if he will extend the scope of special development 30W area status grants so that such grants may be paid to service industries, in view of the importance of these industries in areas of high unemployment like Merseyside.
§ Mr. MacGregorGrants under the office and service industry scheme are already available to aid the development of service projects in the assisted areas As a special development area, Merseyside qualifies for the highest rates of assistance under the scheme.
