§ Mr. AlisonThe prison regime in Northern Ireland is already in line, in many respects, with those in Great Britain. I pay close regard to practice in Great Britain, but since the Northern Ireland prison system is much smaller and has a different range of problems, it would not be appropriate to seek complete uniformity.
