§ Mr. WigginI am aware of reports that modern processing methods have been used to replace part of the prescribed meat content in meat products with other ingredients. We are at present considering a report of the Food Standards Committee on meat products and in the light of that consideration, which will take account of the views of the Association of Public Analysts, we will decide whether new regulations are required.
