HC Deb 16 June 1981 vol 6 c353W
Dr. Roger Thomas

asked the Secretary of State for Wales whether he is satisfied that all health centres and general practitioners' surgeries in Wales are sufficiently well equipped to increase the number of minor surgical operations carried out there.

Mr. Wyn Roberts

This is a matter for the general medical practitioners themselves who, as independent contractors to the National Health Service, are expected to provide their own equipment, whether in their surgeries or in health centres.
