Dr. Roger Thomasasked the Secretary of State for Wales if he is satisfied that in each of the Welsh health areas community care for the mentally ill and the mentally handicapped is satisfactory and fully accords with statutory regulations; and whether there are any locations where the acceptance by the community of such patients is still not completely integrated.
§ Mr. Wyn RobertsI am satisfied that the responsible authorities are discharging their duties within the limits of the available resources. I do not know of any locations where there has been a refusal to accept the integration of such patients into the community.
