§ Mr. Peter Morrison265 men and 273 women were placed in employment by the Wolverhampton jobcentre in the period 4 April 1981 to 8 May 1981, the latest period for which statistics are available. The actual number of job vacancies filled in Wolverhampton during the period will have been much greater as the proportion of all vacancies in the area filled by the Manpower Services Commission is estimated to be about a quarter.
