§ Mr. Ray Powellasked the Secretary of State for Wales (1) how much has been spent by local authorities in 1979 and 1980, county by county, in efforts to attract new industry, to help existing industry and to help establish small businesses within their areas; (2) how much of the financial help given by local authorities to establish and attract new industry and help preserve existing jobs has been provided by the ratepayers directly and how much indirectly through taxation and Government grants.
