asked the Minister for the Civil Service how many copies of the Employment Gazette were sold to non-governmental bodies and individuals, for each of the months January, February and March 1981; and what income was derived from these sales.

It is difficult to be precise about the income from these sales, since subscriptions are renewed on a rolling basis. In round terms the income was of the order of £13,000 to £14,000 each month.
