§ Mr. Peter MorrisonThe Government expanded the youth opportunities programme to 450,000 places in 1981–82 and have undetaken with the Manpower Services Commission that every 1981 school leaver who remains unemployed will be offered a suitable place on the programme by Christmas 1981. I know that with the help of sponsors and the placing agencies they will make every effort to achieve this ambitious target in Leicestershire, as elsewhere.
