§ Mr. WhitelawThe Police Act 1964 continues to provide a satisfactory framework for administering the police but, as I said in reply to a question by the hon. Member on 7 May, I shall be considering further, in consultation with the Police Advisory Board, what changes may be necessary in the present arrangements for dealing with complaints against the police.
