§ Mr. Marlowasked the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if it is planned to propose the implementation of articles 39 and 110 of the Treaty of Rome.
§ Mr. Buchanan-SmithArticle 39 of the Treaty sets out the objectives of the common agricultural policy and certain other considerations to be taken account of in working out the policy. I am not clear what further measures of implementation of this article my hon. Friend has in mind. Article 110 relates to the common commercial policy, which is primarily the responsibility of my right hon. Friend, the Secretary of State for Trade.
