§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what representations he has received from the National Association of Schoolmasters/Union of Women Teachers concerning representation on the Burnham committee; and if he will make a statement.
§ Dr. BoysonThe National Association of Schoolmasters/Union of Women Teachers is already represented on the Burnham primary and secondary committee. It has made a formal application for representation on the Burnham further education committee; and the general secretary of the union made further representations to my right hon. and learned Friend at a meeting on 15 April.
