HC Deb 10 June 1981 vol 6 c132W
Mr. Alfred Morris

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what support he is providing for the Joint Project for Disabled People; and if this allows for the organisation's promotion of the scheme to encourage hon. Members to spend a day during the current year with a family which includes a disabled person.

Mr. Rossi

The project organisers have not sought any financial support from the department. In my role as Minister for the disabled I am anxious to do what I can to help the voluntary organisations concerned in the project and I shall spend part of a day with a disabled person in my constituency. It must be for individual hon. Members to decide whether they also wish to take part in the Project.
