§ Mr. Norman LamontThe Electricity Council has advised me that the average percentage increase in industrial electricity prices from April 1981, over the tariffs applying from August 1980, was 7 per cent. In addition, the council expects industrial prices to rise by a further 8 per cent. during 1981–82 due to future movement in fuel costs.
