HC Deb 09 June 1981 vol 6 cc66-7W
31. Sir David Price

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether, in the light of his acceptance contained in the Official Report, column 257, on 12 May, of the conclusions of the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation and the Committee on Safety of Medicines that the benefits of vaccination against whooping cough outweigh the possible risks, he proposes to take any further steps to encourage parents to have their children vaccinated.

Dr. Vaughan

We have in mind that there should be a campaign to encourage vaccination, but the timing and details are not yet settled.
