asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will seek to legislate to provide that evidence by third parties as to conversations between prisoners on remand and their spouses shall no longer be admissible in the courts.

No. My right hon. Friend sees no justification for excluding such evidence provided that it satisfies the general requirements of the existing law governing the admissibility of evidence.
