§ Mr. Allan Stewartasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he will increase the limit on the amount which the Exchequer can contribute when a housing association improves a house for sale.
§ Mr. YoungerAn order which came into effect yesterday increases this limit from £5,000 to £7,500. I hope that this increase will encourage housing associations to consider engaging in schemes of this kind.
