§ Mr. LawsonProvisional OECD figures show that in 1980 the gross domestic product of the United States was $2,557 billion, in Japan it was $1,046 billion and in the European Community as a whole it was $2,790 billion. National figures have been converted into dollars at the average exchange rates for 1980.
