§ Mrs. Renée Shortasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he is yet able to make a further statement on the future of the quota scheme for disabled people.
§ Mr. Peter Morrison[pursuant to his reply, 3 June 1981]: I have not yet received the recommendations of the Manpower Services Commission on the future of the quota scheme. I am informed by the MSC that it will be reporting to me soon on the outcome of its review. No final decision on this issue will be taken until the recommendations have been given very careful consideration.
