§ Mr. Alexanderasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what timing he anticipates for the implementation of the Boundary Commission's recommendations.
§ Mr. MayhewMy right hon. Friend intends to lay the reports of the Boundary Commissions before Parliament as soon as practicable after receiving them. In the case of the commission for England, I understand that it is likely to have completed its review of all parliamentary constituencies by the end of 1982. The commission for Wales has only recently begun its review and is not yet able to say when it is likely to have completed it.
