§ 23. Mr. Haselhurstasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will introduce a universal two-year training programme for young people at the age of 16 years who are not in full-time education.
§ Mr. Peter MorrisonA major objective of the proposals for new training initiatives published on 21 May is to move towards a position where all young people under the age of 18 who do not continue in full-time education have the opportunity of entering training or a period of planned work experience combining work-related training and education.
