§ Mr. Alexander FletcherThree out of a total of twenty-six applications for selective financial assistance under section 7 of the Industry Act 1972 towards projects in the Dundee area have been rejected in the last two years. In each case refused, the decision reflected my Department's conclusion that the project was not likely to be viable, and none of the three is known to have gone ahead without assistance.
