§ Mr. Norman LamontFigures of material unaccounted for—MUF—at AEA and BNFL sites have been published annually since 1977, on which occasion figures retrospective to 1970–71 were included. I have asked the UKAEA to write to the hon. Member providing him with copies of the information published. The concept of MUF as an entity for nuclear materials accounting purposes was not introduced until April 1970, and earlier figures in a form comparable to those published are not available.
