§ Mr. HayhoeAs at 1 January 1981, approximately 9,600 non-industrial civil servants were aged 63 and over; figures for industrial civil servants are not held centrally. 559W I am anxious that the Civil Service should make full use of the extension of the release scheme to provide job opportunities for the unemployed.
