asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he has received any proposal from the Isle of Man to move for alterations in its constitutional status as a dependency of the Crown; and what is the procedure for dealing with such matters.

We have not received any formal proposal from the Isle of Man Government to alter the island's status as a dependency of the Crown. Any such proposal would be a matter for consideration in the first instance by my right hon. Friend the Home Secretary.
