(2) what evidence his Department has received of French and Dutch eggs being sold as British produce within the last two weeks; and what steps he proposes to take on the matter.
§ Mr. Buchanan-SmithThe Department has received no evidence in the two weeks to 28 July 1981 that imported eggs are being sold as British. Any such evidence would always be followed up by the Department's egg inspectorate.
