asked the Prime Minister when it is intended to propose to Parliament that the statutory provisions relating to the Advisory Council on Child Care should be repealed.

My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Social Services intends to take the earliest possible opportunity of proposing the repeal of the statutory provisions relating to the Advisory Council on Child Care.
