§ Mr. Marksasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will assist those county councils which will face financial difficulties because of riot damage by making a contribution to them on a similar basis to that made when storms and floods create similar problems.
§ Mr. KingWe will certainly consider sympathetically the case of any authority which faces an undue financial burden locally as a result of riot damage.
