HC Deb 30 July 1981 vol 9 c495W
Mr. Ernie Ross

asked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will list the accidents involving the transportation of radioactive material to and from and within the United Kingdom in the past year.

Mr. Goodhart

There have been no accidents involving radioactive materials being transported to, from or within the United Kingdom for defence purposes during the past year. Questions about the movement of other radioactive materials by rail or road are a matter for the Secretary of State for Transport and by sea and air for the Secretary of State for Trade.
