§ Mr. GoodhartIn the year 1 July 1980 to 30 June 1981 members of the UDR have been fired at on 28 occasions. They have returned fire four times. One terrorist is thought to have been wounded, but escaped.

§ Mr. GoodhartIn the year 1 July 1980 to 30 June 1%1 members of the Regular Army in Northern Ireland have been fired at on 166 occasions. They have returned fire on 51 occasions. Two terrorists have been killed, and four wounded in exchanges of fire. In addition there is evidence of further, but uncomfirmed, terrorist casualties caused by the Army in such exchanges.
