HC Deb 30 July 1981 vol 9 c455W
Mr. Winnick

asked the Prime Minister if she will estimate the total costs involved in the visit to Liverpool made by the Secretary of State for the Environment, the Minister of State, Home Office, and the officials concerned.

The Prime Minister

The investigation by the Secretary of State for the Environment, the Minister of State, Home Office, and their small official supporting team is not complete. I cannot yet give a firm estimate of the expenses which will be incurred during their extended visit to the area, but they are making use of the existing facilities of the regional offices and the Merseyside urban development corporation.
