§ Mr. WaddingtonThe Employment Act 1980 came into force less than one year ago. It is still too soon to make any final judgment about its effectiveness. We shall, of course, be taking experience of the operation of the Employment Act so far fully into account in assessing the outcome of consultations on the Green Paper on trade union immunities.
