§ Mr. Humphrey Atkins[pursuant to his reply, 21 July 1981]: This information is not available in respect of the period prior to 1968. Between 1 January 1968 and 21 July 1981 there have been 1,286 suspected cases of murder for which no one as yet has been arrested and charged.
