HC Deb 27 July 1981 vol 9 c369W
Mr. Ernie Ross

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many representations he has received in favour of the integration of schools in the Province; and if he will list them;

(2) what is the policy of the Government towards the integration of schools in Ulster.

Mr. John Patten

Since May 1979 the Government have received two such representations from organisations. These were from the Northern Ireland Public Service Alliance and from All Children Together. These were both in 1980. In addition to those made in Parliament, there have also been representations from eight private individuals. Three of these were in 1979, three in 1980 and two this year.

I have nothing to add to the answer I gave to the hon. Gentleman for Down, North (Mr. Kilfedder) on 14 May 1981.—[Vol. 4, c. 877.]
