§ Mr. Peter Robinsonasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many members of the Royal Ulster Constabulary Reserve have been killed or injured on duty; and how many have been killed or injured off duty as a result of terrorist incidents since the formation of the force.
§ Mr. Humphrey Atkins[pursuant to his reply, 21 July 1981]: 25 Members of the RUC Reserve have been killed on duty and 27 off duty since it was formed on 1 April 1970. 396 have been injured but it is not possible to distinguish between those injured on and off duty.
