§ 40. Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster whether, in view of the deep concern felt by the general public at the costs, waste of money and failure of the broadcasting of parliamentary proceedings, he will recommend to the House that these broadcasts shall cease, and revert to the practices previous to the present direct broadcasts.
