HC Deb 27 July 1981 vol 9 c281W
Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster whether he will again draw to the attention of hon. Members and staff that the limited number of car parking spaces set aside for the physically disabled should not be used by others.

Mr. Pym

I have asked the authorities of the House to remind others who park their cars in Star Chamber Court not to use the spaces reserved for the disabled.

In addition, the hon. Member will be glad to know that Mr. Speaker has agreed to a resolution from the Services Committee that two further car parking spaces should be allocated in Star Court for the disabled, specifically for wheelchair users. These extra spaces will be marked out as soon as possible.
