§ Sir David Priceasked the Secretary of State for Industry if he will publish in the Official Report a revised version of his Department's contributions to table 2.4 in "The Government's Expenditure Plans 1981–82 to 1983–84". Cmnd 8175, in respect of the year 1981–82 arising from new expenditure commitments undertaken since table 2.4 was compiled.
§ Mr. MacGregorThe 1981–82 figures require alteration to reflect expected costs from the new coal-fired boiler scheme—a further £2 million in cash terms to be added under the heading in table 2.4 "Selective assistance to individual industries, firms and undertakings"—and additional spending on the development of the small firms service and the business opportunities programme—a further £1.5 million under the "Other Services" headings.
