asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many home lifts have been installed by the Northern Ireland Housing Executive in each of the past three years; and what is the present waiting list in each district.

This is a matter for the Housing Executive, but I understand from the chairman that 28, 39 and 47 home lifts were installed by the Housing Executive in the years 1978–79, 1979–80 and 1980–81.

Applications for home lifts are outstanding in the following areas:
