§ Mr. Peter Robinsonasked the Secretary of State far Northern Ireland if he will make a statement on the Department of the Environment's programme of capital works for improving the efficiency of sewage disposal works discharging effluent into Lough Neagh.
§ Mr. David MitchellThe Department is currently implementing a capital programme which involves the 177W installation of an additional treatment process at the 10 large sewage disposal works in the Lough Neagh catchment. The process removes phosphorus from sewage effluents, and has been installed at four sewage works and will be installed in the remaining six by the end of the year.
