§ Mr. Gregor MacKenzieasked the Secretary of State for Scotland how much money is to be made available to local authorities for maintenance and repair of local authority houses during the course of the next 18 months.
§ Mr. YoungerWhile I am required for the purposes of each housing support grant settlement to make an estimate of the amount that would in aggregate be reasonable for authorities to incur in the year to which the settlement relates, local authorities themselves determine how much of their total housing expenditure is to be spent on repair and maintenance.
